A Raleigh classic recreated for the modern age, the Superbe is filled with the heritage of Raleigh and Nottingham, celebrating over 100 years of classic design and style.
Designed originally for the discerning lady who wanted the very best that this new and exciting activity called cycling could offer, millions of Raleigh Superbes were made over the years and exported all over the world.
This new version has some changes, but many of the original features and geometry are still in place. The Sturmey Archer 5-speed internal hub gear and hub brakes give you a smooth and elegant ride, while the full mudguards, dress guard and chain guard protect you from any mud, debris or dirt while you ride. The rear carrier easily holds panniers or rack bags, and the full wicker basket is ideal for shopping.
And finishing the package is a Brooks B33 in honey leather. Originally designed in 1938 for heavy duty cycling, the B33 features stranded rear coil springs and a front loop for elegant strength and suspension while travelling.
The Raleigh Superbe is ideal for the female cyclist looking for traditional lines and classic quality for commuting or leisure riding.
