- The width of your caravan’s door and which way it opens, so that it does not open into the side of the porch or is hampered by the porch awning

Measuring a motor home/driveaway awning is similar to measuring both a porch and a caravan awning, but you also need to consider if you will be attaching a driveaway awning rail or attaching the awning to your motorhome with ties. Ensure that your awning measurements match your attaching measurements and both match your motorhome.
