Introducing from Cadac the E Braai Barbecue. This is a stylish electric barbecue with a UK three-pin plug. Portable and small with diameter of around 40cm making this perfect for camping and caravanning, and as it is electric makes this barbecue ideal for home and indoor use; perfect for city dwellers, especially where fire and safety restrictions limit the use and storage of gas barbecues. Up front, the E Braai features a digital LED which accurately displays the cooking temperature via a sensitive probe that sits directly underneath the grill.
The 2.3kW heat coil ensures quick heat up time. A detachable glass ring protects the coil from the cooking fat. With the Auto Grill Temperature control setting you can accurately set the desired temperature. The temperature is not measured as usual underneath the lid, but from the grid itself.
The temperature of the E Braai is adjustable from 70 to 270 degrees, which makes it also suitable for slow cooking.
The removable fat pan is dishwasher safe and easy to clean. Four dome vents ensure good air circulation and even heat distribution.

What is the difference between a HP and LP Cadac Barbecue?
LP stands for Low Pressure. HP stands for High Pressure.
High Pressure barbecues work directly off a gas cartridge without the use of a hose and regulator kit, ideal for lightweight travel and higher altitudes.
Low Pressure barbecues work off any gas cylinder/bottle and connected with a regulator and hose kit. Depending on your gas bottle will depend on the which regulator you will require.
What can I do if my Cadac grill doesn't ignite?
How do I clean the Fat Pan on my Cadac BBQ?
As you cook on your Cadac barbecue, fats from your food with naturally drip into the fat pan that surrounds the burner. Before you start cooking, each time, if you place some water vinegar or some sand into the fat pan and you can easily skim the fat afterwards once you BBQ has cooled after cooking. If you don't remove the fat from the fat pan after a few uses, you will increase the chance of flame flare-up (known as 'flaring').
How do I maintain my Cadac Cooking Surfaces?
Most Cadac cooking surfaces (like the paella pan and BBQ grid) have their GreenGrill ceramic coating. Always use wooden or plastic utensils to avoid damaging this coating. Cadac's GreenGrill Brush is perfect for cleaning these GreenGrill coatings. You can clean the surfaces in (warm) water with a soft sponge or dishwashing brush. You can also use the Cadac barbecue cleaner. Never use scourers or abrasives.
How do I clean by BBQ Grid?
Enamelled grid: The enamelled grid is easy to clean with some water and detergent. Never use scourers, abrasives or metal tools as this can damage the enamelling. You can also use the CADAC Cleaner; an effective cleaner to clean all chrome and enamelled parts of the BBQ.
Chromed grid: Clean the grid in water with some detergent. When the grid got encrusted you can soak it for a night in water before you clean it.
Which BBQ Gas Regulator?
A question that we are often asked surrounding gas barbecues is, "what gas and what regulator do I need to power my new bbq?" Gas barbecues generally do not come with a regulator and a hose kit. The reason for this is because there are so many types of gas bottles and cylinders on the market, here in the UK and in Europe. It is impossible for barbecue manufactures to include every single gas regulator with their barbecues. In this article, we aim to make it that much easier when choosing a gas bottle and a supporting regulator. Read our guide here.
