What is a Towing Mirror? A Towing Mirror is an essential motoring accessory when pulling along an outfit behind your vehicle, this outfit could be a horsebox, trailer or caravan. The outfit that you are towing without a question will be wider than your vehicle's body. In this situation, your OEM wing mirrors are at a disadvantage, as they may not allow you to see behind your towing outfit. This is where you should consider using towing mirrors for your safety and others around. Towing Mirrors clip-on (attach) onto your vehicle's wing mirrors and automatically extend your field of vision for greater visibility, and ultimately allowing you to monitor and anticipate traffic around.        

What is a Convex Mirror? A convex mirror, or also known as a fisheye mirror, is a simply a curved mirror in which the glass bulges towards the light source. The image presented in the mirror will be smaller thus giving you a wider field of view; compared to plane mirror (or also known as a 'flat mirror'). It’s is important to note that objects in a convex mirror are closer than they appear, due to the form of the glass making objects look further away. When towing a caravan or trailer whilst using convex mirrors, you have a greater advantage of spotting hazards behind, and allows easier monitoring of your blind-spots. Vehicles following close behind? Through a convex mirror you will be in a better position to observe a car's action should it be getting ready to overtake. Also, makes it easier to see around corners when reversing, and that's even before you've have reached the corner. However, a flat mirror reflects a true image of the space beside you or behind you. A convex mirror may allow you to see two lanes of traffic while a flat mirror may only allow you to see one lane of traffic.
