Take off like a shot with this strong and fierce mountain bike for boys aged 9 to 11. The Dawes Bullet has a tough and lightweight 13" alloy dirt bike frame and a BMX-style fork, with the Shimano 18-speed gearset giving any boy ultimate speed and power. This version of the Bullet now features a Zoom Suspension Fork, providing ‘dirt-jump bike’ like qualities; designed to divert the shocks away from the wrists for improved control over varying levels of terrain!
The alloy V-type brakes provide smooth and precision stopping, and the 24" wheels are matched with mountain bike tyres for a tough and comfortable ride. Add in colour-coordinated cables and a saddle, and the Bullet is ready for the pavement, the trail, the street, the park, the cycle path, or even the school run.
The Dawes Bullet conforms to the British Standard EN14766, the standard for mountain bicycles. These bicycles are intended for use off-road, on rough terrain such as coarse pebble tracks where tree roots and rocks are likely to be encountered. The use of a bicycle off-road in hazardous conditions such as changeable and uneven surfaces can put very high unpredictable loads on the bicycle and its components. Lack of rider skill and experience of these conditions can further increase these loads leading to the possibility of serious damage to the bicycle and injury to the rider. Permissible total weight of rider, luggage, and bicycle equals 145kg.
