Introducing the Sevylor Alameda 2 Plus 1 Inflatable Kayak, idea for 2 adults and for seating 1 child the Alameda is perfect for families days out on the lake, or touring along sheltered coastlines. The stylish profile looks great offering a sporty look, whilst retaining plenty of comfort and performance. Up front, the Alameda features bungee cord for storage and integrated spray decks at the bow and stern.
The seats can be easily adjusted with thanks to Sevylor’s Seatography System, a practical floor guide to help determine where your seat should be positioned for greatest comfort and correct usage. In addition the Alameda can be turned into a 2 person kayak providing excellent space of couples.
The canvas has been produced from Sevylor’s Sevy-Strong Tarpaulin, remarkably robust, lightweight and water resistant material that protects the bottom of the kayak from abrasion and damage. Sevy-Strong™ Tarpaulin is up to 18% thicker and has been generously extended well above the waterline, covering 28% more surface area of the kayak compared to competitor models.
Sevy-Spension is a patented, unique seating system that makes paddling the kayak easier and more efficient. By suspending the seat and the paddler above the floor of the kayak there is a significant reduction in deformation of the hull resulting in a smooth, flat shape and creating less resistance in the water. The Sevy-Spension seating system results in 15% less resistance when paddling. In addition, for any backsplash that may result in your paddling, the suspended seating will keep you dry throughout your journey. The seat adjustment webbing, that runs the length of the kayak, can also be used to secure your belongings and keep them dry.
To protect the longevity of your inflatable kayak during the summer months, or in hot climate countries, where the temperatures hot, we alongside the manufacture strongly advise the following action. As soon as your kayak is out of the water, it recommended that one-third of the air needs to be expelled. As the temperature rises, the air inside your kayak's air chambers will increase in pressure. By taking precaution, in the heat, this will allow for room for expansion, thus significantly reduces the risk of your kayak over-inflating. You can re-inflate as soon as you go back into the water as the cooler conditions will maintain stable PSI. Please do assess your environment's temperatures before inflation as failure do so, and damage caused due to incorrect use, may affect your warranty.
